Robert F. Halifax

Mr. Halifax was born and raised in the North Burnaby area, having graduated from Burnaby North High School many years ago.

Mr. Halifax graduated from the University of British Columbia Law School and was called to the BC Bar in 1984.  In the subsequent years, his practice has centered primarily on real estate and banking issues.  He has helped countless clients to understand the process of buying and selling property or obtaining a mortgage from lenders.

Mr. Halifax has also demonstrated his experience in these fields by teaching “Buying and Selling Real Estate” classes for the Burnaby School Board and lecturing to new Law School Graduates on the conveyance process during their Professional Legal Training Course.  He has also led information sessions for various groups of bankers and real estate agents.

Despite staying busy through the hectic real estate markets over the years in the Lower Mainland, Mr. Halifax has a number of outside interests.  He has been long-time runner, having completed over a dozen marathons and half-marathons and the grueling Knee-Knackering Run over the North Shore’s Baden-Powell Trail.  He has also recently discovered that he’s inherited his father’s curling gene.  He is currently a member of the Gay and Lesbian Business Association and has been active in the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity and the BC Student Leadership Conference Association over the years.
