Richard F. Double

Mr. Double joined Cobbett & Cotton in 1999 and practices in the areas of corporate/commercial law, wills and estates.

Mr. Double obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wilfred Laurier University in 1982, his Master of Arts from Carleton University’s Institute of Soviet and East European Studies in 1986, and his Bachelor of Law from the University of Ottawa in 1989. Mr. Double was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 1994.

Richard Double has particular interest in the areas of wills and estates. Before joining Cobbett & Cotton he was a Wills & Trusts Consultant with a national trust company. Mr. Double has been a member of the Estate Planning Council of Vancouver since 1997.

Mr. Double is otherwise kept busy being a husband and father and as time allows, participates in hiking, biking and running.
