BOB HALIFAX

Bob works primarily on real estate and banking issues, small property development projects, including subdivisions and strata developments. Bob has taught conveyancing courses with Continuing Legal Education; contributing to their Conveyancing Desk Book, led “Buying and Selling Real Estate” classes for the Burnaby School Board and lectured in Professional Legal Training Courses on the conveyance process. He has led information sessions for bankers and real estate agents.

Bob graduated from UBC Law School and was called to the BC Bar in 1984. He has practiced law at Cobbett & Cotton since 2002. He has been long-time runner, having completed over a dozen marathons and half-marathons and the Knee-Knackering Run. He also inherited his father’s curling gene. He has been a member of the Gay and Lesbian Business Association and was active in the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity and the BC Student Leadership Conference Association over the years.
