Lawyer

RANDY COBBETT (Retired)

Randy graduated from UBC with both a Law degree and Commerce degree in 1984, and practiced primarily in the areas of real estate law, and wills & estates law. In 1990, Randy joined Bill Cotton, who had opened his law firm in 1954 on Hastings Street in Burnaby. After Bill’s passing, the practice continued on as “Cobbett & Cotton” and Randy’s law firm grew exponentially over the years, developing many long-lasting relationships with clients and lawyers. Randy has also lectured several times with the Continuing Legal Education Society for lawyers and legal support staff.

Randy retired in 2021, leaving the practice in the capable hands of Jeff Kuhl. Randy currently divides his time between living in downtown Vancouver and the Okanagan, being a grandparent, and travelling with his wife to all of the destinations in the world that they never had time to visit in past years.
